PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

This course is all about advancing your scuba diving skills, it is for those who are already a certified Open Water Diver and aged 12 and above. This course includes theory and knowledge review, which you can do at home through PADI eLearning. There will be quizzes and practical skills assessment tests. For the dives, you need to complete five dives, and that must include the required deep dive below 18-30 metres or 60-100 feet, a navigation dive and three Adventure dives of your choice. By the end of the course, you will receive a certificate for Advanced Open Water Diver, and you’ll be more confident in your scuba diving skills.

PADI RESCUE DIVER

If you want to become a better dive buddy or eventually take the PADI Divemaster course, then the Rescue Diver course is for you. In this course, you will learn how to identify and fix minor problems before they become a bigger problems. It will also include water training, handling different scenarios to help you recognise stress in other divers, managing emergencies, self-rescue and rescuing panicked or unresponsive divers. You will also learn how to use an emergency oxygen kit. All these skills you will practise together with your dive instructor to help you prepare to become a confident and skilled rescue diver. You can register with PADI elearning online to start with the five knowledge development sections.

There will be training on how to give CPR, use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and other skills and techniques so that you can provide every possible care for a chance of survival while waiting for emergency medical services to arrive. By the end of the course, you will be more confident in your ability in responding to a medical emergency. This training is a requirement for the Rescue Diver course.
