OUR PROJECT
Learn more about the marine ecosystem when you visit the dive centre and the Marine Discovery Centre at Crossroads Maldives. Best Dives Crossroads and the Marine Discovery team have been working on a coral regeneration project through replanting and propagation of coral fragments. The aim is to enhance the marine ecosystem and biodiversity on the island.
The team on the island assisted in creating an artificial reef in the sandy lagoon in various shapes and sizes to attract more marine life and spark curiosity among visitors. Raising awareness on issues affecting the ocean environment does not have to be monotonous. It can also be fun!
